Shabanpour said that more than 24.6 billion cubic meters of sour gas was extracted from the South Pars gas field during the mentioned period adding the amount stood at 21.5 billion cubic meters over the four first months of the year earlier.
According to him, during the first four months of this year, about 19 billion cubic meters of gas were sweetened by the South Pars gas processing plants and 2.5 billion cubic meters of sour gas were injected to the fifth gas trunk line.
According to SPGC’s managing director, also 34.5 million barrels of gas liquids and 110 thousands tons of sulfur has been produced in the South Pars Gas Complex.
Shabanpour went on to say that, all the produced ethane, 261 thousands tons, was delivered to Jam Petrochemical plant, while 9 million barrels of gas liquids were delivered to Nori Petrochmical Plant and 26 million barrels of gas liquids to oil tankers.
Meanwhile Pars Petrochemical plant received 1.1 billion cubic meters of sweetened gas of the Complex.
Also during the period, nearly 190 thousands tons of propane, 127 thousands tons of butane and 102 thousands tons of sulfur have been exported.
