Fuzan 945-F is a rosin-based no-clean flux for wave soldering, classified ROL0 per J-STD-004B and formulated to contain less than 500 ppm of any halogen (chlorine, bromine, or fluorine), qualifying it as fully halogen-free. Its amber color and low solids content (5.77%) translate into light, low-visibility residue, while the rosin and synthetic-resin components help protect thick or difficult-to-solder boards and seal the flux activators during processing. It is designed for wave soldering of through-hole and mixed-technology assemblies and is validated with tin-copper, tin-silver-copper, and tin-lead alloys — including SAC305, SAC105, SAC0307, 63Sn/37Pb, and 60Sn/40Pb — delivering superior wetting and reliable hole fill. Flux residues pass J-STD-004B surface insulation resistance and electrochemical migration testing, so no cleaning is required for standard consumer and telecom electronics, though Clarix C01, B02, P03, or U05 can be used if residue removal is preferred for cosmetic or high-reliability reasons. Shelf life is two years in a closed container below 30 °C; recap promptly after opening and store cool and dry.
