Clarix B02 is a water-based, surfactant-free cleaning concentrate diluted to 15–20% in deionized water for use in spray-in-air cleaning equipment. With a pH of 10.5, no flash point, and a density of 0.94 g/cm³, it is formulated to remove all types of contamination from printed circuit assemblies, including fine-pitch and low-standoff components, and effectively strips residues from NoClean, lead-free, and leaded flux and paste formulations at a recommended wash temperature of 40–60 °C. Because it contains no surfactants, it rinses off equipment and boards without leaving deposits, and compatibility testing shows no aggressive attack on solder alloys, solder masks, or other assembly materials. Bath concentration can be monitored with the companion Gidronol K14 alkaline-cleaner test kit, and the fluid's long bath life, non-flammable profile, low volatility, mild odor, and biodegradability add up to a cost-effective, low-hazard cleaning process. Packaged in 5 L and 20 L canisters or 200 L drums, stored at 5–30 °C for a minimum 5-year shelf life.
