Vestro 1P is the dedicated thinner for Vestro UR polyurethane conformal coating, used to adjust viscosity and solids content ahead of dipping, spraying, or brushing, and to remove or wipe away uncured, wet lacquer mistakenly applied to a board or work area. With a density of 0.86 ± 0.01 g/cm³, boiling point of 137–140 °C, vapor pressure of 18.0 mmHg, VOC content of 860 g/L, and a flash point of 30 °C, it is a clear liquid noted for elevated chemical and mechanical purity — a property specifically required to pass electrical-insulation and moisture-resistance test standards for the coatings it thins. Beyond Vestro UR, it can also be used to adjust the viscosity of aromatic-hydrocarbon-based moisture-resistant lacquers from other manufacturers, but should only be used with equipment specifically designed for it, and requires exhaust ventilation when the product is heated. Supplied in 1 L, 5 L, or 25 L packaging, it should be stored in tightly closed original containers in a cool, dry place at 0–35 °C, following a first-expiry, first-used stock rotation policy; shelf life is 2 years.
