Chimitex Arya Company (Private Joint Stock) established in 2008 and intends to produce and supply totally 20,000 Mt/year Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) as a final product and Sec-Butyl Alcohol (SBA) as an intermediate. The first line of production with annual capacity of 5,000 Mt put into operation in December 2012. The production plant is located in Mahshahr Special Economic Petrochemical Zone (Pet Zone) in an area of 5 hectares and using an advanced technology is designed to produce finally 20,000 Mt/year SBA/MEK to meet the growing global & local demand and export to the international market.
