Ferrite or Ceramic magnets are made from a composite powder containing Iron oxide and Barium or Strontium oxide. The most common type of ceramic magnets are anisotropic strontium, anisotropic barium and isotropic barium magnet. It is most widely used because of its low cost, high-energy, good electric insulation and excellent resistance to demagnetization. It can be magnetized before or after assembly without danger of losing any performance and can be used in operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to + 250°C.
According to the demands, they can be made to arc segments, blocks, rings and discs and widely used for DC motors, loudspeakers, reed switch operation, magnetic separator assemblies and general holding devices etc. The un-magnetized blocks can be used for diamond cutting machines to match customers' exact specification.
At present, we focus on arc segment magnets for electric DC motors, ring magnets for loudspeakers, disc magnets and block magnets for special applications.
