Omran Moomun Chabahar Co. has launched its industrial & mining activities in 1997. This company has been established by group of Iranian Experienced Engineers and one Kuwaiti trader (Originally Iranian) to supply, produce and export Mining materials. The preliminary studies of Mineral exploration goes back to previous years, however the detailed studies and mineral resources exploration started since 1994 in suitable areas of Iran.

The activity areas of this company are in the following three geographical regions:



A) Assalouyeh:


This company have a site of 100 Hectares area in Assalouyeh, Bushehr province, 40 km2 limestone mine, and one authorized private jetty with 50,000 tons capacity(currently phase І has been executed).

Omran Moomun Chabahar Co. have been nominated mining company of Bushehr province for three continuous years(1999,2000&2001) and obtained appreciation plaque which 60% of the nonoil export products of this province belongs to this company.

The private jetty of this company consist of breakwater with length of approx.600m, one quay with length of 152m which the minimum depth of water(at the lowest tide),beginning of quay 6.5m(LLW) and 9.5m at the end of quay.

The mines of this region are Limestone type to supply aggregates for concrete, armor and filter necessary for maritime structures, flux for steel plants (metallurgy limestone) and necessary material for cement factories and until now considerable quantities of our products have been exported to countries of Persian Gulf region and India.

The other deposit of these mines is Dolomite rock Ca Mg[CO3]2 that is used as fluxes in metallurgy, chemical and glass industries.



B) Bandar Abbas:

Omran Moomun Chabahar Co. has iron ore quarries (Hematite type) with chemical formula Fe2O3 located in Tange Zagh region 120 km beside Bandar Abbas - Sirjan road.

Omran Moomun Chabahar Co. have been nominated mining company of this province.

The iron grade of this quarry varies from 45% to 60% and has various usages for steel plants, cement factories, dyeing industries, petroleum drilling industries and etc…, besides this quarry consist of Iron ore concentration and upgrading unit (under Installation), laboratory, crushing plants (to produce Iron ore sizing 0-40 mm & 0-10 mm) and weighbridges and until now considerable quantities of our products have been exported to China and countries of Persian Gulf region.

The other deposit of these mines is Dolomite rock Ca Mg[CO3]2 that is used as fluxes in metallurgy, chemical and glass industries.





C) Ardebil & Zanjan:

This company has massive Perlite mines in Ardebil province
(Givy region, Khalkhal province) and Zanjan Province (Angoran region), crushing plant(two units) and expanded perlite has been located in a site of 15 Hectares area near Zanjan province, which its type is unique in Iran, and produce raw products in four different sizes 0-1 mm, 1-1.5 mm,
1.5-2.5 mm & 2.5-3.5 mm and expand them accordingly.

This Company also has high pressure gas network and one weighbridge in Zanjan Province.

Perlite has various usages for construction industry, agricultural industry, molding, filtration and etc.., and until now quantity of our products has been exported to countries of Persian Gulf region.
