National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC), a subsidiary of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), commenced its operation in 1979 using six heavy drilling rigs and allocated considerable resources in the field of training as a long term objective for expansion. In addition, NIDC is providing drilling technical services. This gives NIDC a unique position among drilling contractors. In provision of drilling and related services NIDC enjoys the benefits of its state of the art equipment and its

skilled man power and expertise. NIDC since its inception has been responsible for exploration, development and delineation drilling of all oil and gas wells. Workovering of all oil and gas wells is also part of our operation.
