Abkar Golestan Cultivation & Industry Co (AGCIC) was founded in 2008 in Agh-Ghala Industrial Town, Geolstan Province, a province renowned for its agricultural products in Iran, to produce extra-virgin vegetable oil bearing the brand “Verjen”. The experience of our directors who equipped the company with farming tool and machineries led us to produce and supply the raw materials from the outsourced farms operated under our supervision. We are planning to supply the whole input to our plant from naturally produced seeds to organically extract oils in a near future. Once in the plant, the seeds are winnowed, and then washed using fresh water if needed (for sesame and field pumpkin), and finally transferred to and stored for use at a cooled-down air conditioned warehouse having standard temperature and humidity. All oils are produced based on the standards developed for processing extra-virgin oil.
