The Pars Special Economic Energy Zone was
established on 8 October 1998 by the approval
of the country''''s High Council of the Free Zones.
The establishment is under the supervision of
the National Iranian Oil Company and at
present is managed by the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Company.

The zone, located on the northern coastal line
of the Persian Gulf, is more than 100 square
km. It is situated 250 '''' km from Boushehr port
and 570 Km from Bandar Abbas
