Mr. Ahmad Ali Kazemi in an interview with Fars said: "One of the major issues in country development, particularly in the economy aspect is the housing and construction section which due to communication with other economic sectors, this sector can be as a motor of growth in our economy. He continued that implementation of Clean Policy (savings, downsizing, mass construction) and Settlement Credit Plans in order to strengthen the supply sector, constructing rentable units (hire purchase) and increasing the bank facilities are the policies that could be referred as the facts that are being implemented with the purpose to decrease the gap between demand and supply in the second, third and fourth year of development plan. Kazemi mentioned the order of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran to convey the policies of Article 44 of the Constitution and special attention of government to Cooperatives and cited: For the time being that housing various social groups is aimed as a major objective for the government, housing cooperatives can be useful tools toward achieving this goal.
