Ecolight, LLC

Ecolight LLC is an innovative Russian manufacturer of low‑voltage electrical equipment, marketing its products under the ECOLIGHT brand. Founded with a focus on safety and advanced electronics, the company has been developing protective devices since 2015 and is best known for its Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD) featuring a proprietary detection algorithm.

Core product and benefits

The AFDD developed by Ecolight applies an original signal‑analysis algorithm to reliably identify dangerous arc faults while minimizing false trips. Independent tests and field deployments indicate that the latest AFDD generation can reduce fires caused by electrical faults by more than half. Key customer benefits include improved fire safety, fewer disruptive outages, and reduced risk to property and occupants.

Technology and compatibility

Ecolight combines custom hardware design with embedded firmware to deliver accurate arc detection across a range of load types. The device uses intelligent signal processing and noise filtering to distinguish hazardous arcs from benign electrical events. AFDD units are designed to integrate with standard miniature circuit breaker panels and low‑voltage distribution boards, simplifying retrofit and new‑build installation.

Quality and standards

Quality control is applied throughout design, testing, and production. Ecolight continually refines its detection algorithms based on laboratory results and real‑world feedback to meet current safety expectations. The company aligns its products with relevant electrical safety practices to ensure dependable performance in residential and commercial environments.

Applications

Ecolight AFDDs are suitable for:

- Private apartments and houses

- Multi‑unit residential buildings

- Commercial premises and offices

- Renovation and new construction projects

Mission and outlook

Ecolight’s mission is to reduce fire incidents and electrical accidents by delivering affordable, intelligent protection devices. The company plans to expand its AFDD line, enhance algorithm performance, and broaden its market presence while supporting partners with training and technical assistance.

Partnerships and support

Ecolight offers collaboration opportunities for distributors, installers, and developers, backed by product documentation, technical consulting, and after‑sales support to ensure correct selection and reliable long‑term operation.
